Scottish Rite Emblem

The Scottish Rite confers the 4th through the 32 nd degrees. The 33rd degree is an honor bestowed upon an individual after years of service to the craft, and leading an exemplary life in his community having demonstrated the tenets of freemasonry with regard to brotherly love, relief, and truth  toward his fellow man. It is a meritorious degree.

The Shiner's

This is perhaps the most familiar branch of freemasonry that most non-masons recognize. Who hasn’t been to a Shrine Circus or perhaps seen those funny men riding around in those little cars and funny hats in a holiday parade? The Shiner's take great joy in contribution of efforts and resource for the many Children's Hospitals they support. To join the Shrine a man must be in good standing with his Blue lodge, as well as be either a 32nd Scottish Rite Mason or A member of the York Rite in good standing.
